3CX: How to Send a Welcome Email

A Welcome email contains important information for an extension. You can download links for the apps, get a QR code for app provisioning, a voicemail PIN, and some basic getting started tips.


Sending a Welcome Email as an Admin

The Welcome Email can be resent from the extensions page.

1. Log into the 3CX Admin Portal.

2. Click “Extensions” on the left menu items. 

3. Check the box next to the users you wish to send the Welcome Email.

4. Click “Send Welcome Email” at the top of the page. 




Sending a Welcome Email as a User

From the 3CX Windows App:

1. Open your 3CX Windows Application.

2. Press the Menu icon in the top right.


3. From the drop-down options, select “Resent Credentials.”


From the 3CX iPhone App:

1. Open your 3CX iPhone App.

2. Press the hamburger menu in the top left.

3. Press Settings.

4. Press Resend Credentials.
